Too many demands on your time?

Updated: Mar 6

Do you remember times where you feel as if you have been thrown to the wall? I know that feeling. Too many demands, responsibilities or too many pressures resulting in so many tugs that you don’t know where to prioritise or how to get anything done. It can feel like a set of cards that are carefully stacked and balanced and just one more topples them all down.

And it’s what we do when we fall down that’s the key to what happens now.

It’s ok to cry and wallow in self pity for a SHORT time. Get it out. Feel it. Yes, it is totally unfair.

But when that part is over, we remember that the sun always rises again.

There is a chance for a new direction or a new start.

Or time to make priorities regardless of what other members of the family or work might say.

And if you don’t take care of yourself, then there is definitely not going to be anything left to give of ourselves.

Creative solutions or new directions can only come when we recognise what is happening, take time for reflection, ask for help in prayer or actuality, and trust that solutions or answers will come.

I am not saying it’s easy. It’s not. But please, make it a time for self-care. Try to see this time as an opportunity to find a different way through or forward.

And connect with a professional to talk it through, find solutions, or a checkup with your health care practitioner.

You are worthy.
