Women can benefit from professional therapy support

It's ok to ask for professional therapy support.

Everything is important. Women benefit from professional therapy support and can find it self empowering and healing.

There are a myriad of reasons the women I work with seek therapy support, but ultimately it is for a sense of relief - letting go of the burden that they carry. And discovering that they really are more than they imagine!

Reasons can include curiosity about how and why they respond in a certain way to particular words, or criticism and so on. Or, they might be seeking insight on what direction that would be fulfilling as a career for themselves. Or, wanting to improve themselves because they in a very stressful role and don't wish to take on the burdens of those in their team or family. Or they may have experienced something devastating in the past - they may not even remember it but just 'know' something happened, and they want to change the effects they are feeling. Or they are curious are about ancestral connections and what has been passed down to them in the womb. There may even be a hidden grief that, by bringing it into the light in session, can be honoured and the burden lifted. Imagine the relief they now feel being able to go about their lives in a more fulfilling way.!

As a resident of the beautiful Blue Mountains, New South Wales, Australia I acknowledge the Dharug and the Gundungurra Nations as the traditional custodians of this beautiful land in which we live and I honour and pay my respects to the Elders past and present and becoming, with blessings of peace.
