Fantastical Flow
- the sea dragon that leads us into quiet wonder.
Acrylics, inks, metallics on canvas.
I created this as an entry to an upcoming exhibition.
I personally love the feeling of flow and wonder.
The picture has a story - about the sea dragon that leads us into quiet wonder.
The sea dragon spiritually reminds us to 'go with the flow', embodying and encouraging a slower pace of life, adaptability and peace.
It can be a mystical and protective force bridging the subconscious with the conscious and in this painting I have felt into the 'flow of imagination'.
The bubbles are quiet possibilities and calm.
The sea dragon also can remind us to embrace stillness and notice the quiet and magical wonder around us.
Fixed in a floating frame painted in a light gold colour. This painting will also be available as a print or print and framed in the eShop.

All my illustrations tell a story.
This one is encouraging the viewer to look forward ... encourage someone to look forward. It depicts transitions, symbolised by a fresh green shoot emerging from a seed planted long ago. This shoot has now grown into a flourishing tree, brimming with love, healing, blessings, and endless possibilities.
This video is an example of my process of developing an illustration for a full design project I created some years ago. The lyrebird is a favourite illustration for me.
